NEWMAINS UNITED’S media academy has had another success – after Hannah Wilson landed a job with a top marketing agency.
The Motherwell film graduate has been appointed as a videographer by Beattie Communications.
Hannah has been a key part of the club since coming on board last December.
She was the brains behind the hugely successful Newmains United Christmas Message, which reached over 30,000 people on social media last December.
Hannah has also produced other high quality footage for the club including the film for the crowdfunding campaign, the recent Newmains United open day showcase and the flyovers of grounds to link in with our clashes in the first month of the season.
Uddingston-based Beattie also have a base in London and boast a host of top clients, who Hannah will now work with.
Hannah follows in the footsteps of the likes of Jack Hunter and Josh Kane as academy members who have gone onto secure full-time positions in their respective media fields.
Newmains co-boss Paul Davies said: “We were hugely impressed with Hannah’s enthusiasm, preparation and diligence from the moment she offered to get involved at the club.
“She has constantly produced work of a quality that is better than a lot of professional clubs can manage. The Christmas Message spoke for itself with the amount of interest it generated.
“While we are sorry to see Hannah go we are also delighted and immensely proud to have been associated with her and we obviously wish her all the best for the future.
“Giving students and people who are passionate about what they do a platform to showcase their talents is something we are committed to do at Newmains.
“Hannah’s appointment hopefully shows that being part of this club is about more than just what goes on on the pitch.”
