That’s Fife: Newmains land Scottish Cup trip to Rosyth

NEWMAINS UNITED have been handed a trip to face Rosyth Juniors in the second round of the Scottish Cup.

The Victoria Park side will travel to Fife to face the East South Division side on September 29.

Rosyth – who play at Recreation Park – currently sit tenth in their 12-team division after failing to win any of their three league games so far.

Newmains co-boss Craig Gupwell knows it will be a tough clash when it comes around.

He said: “It’ll be good to step into the unknown and play against a team and at a venue that we’ve not visited before.

“The Scottish Cup always brings a bit of an extra buzz so hopefully we can travel through with a bit of support and give a good account of ourselves.”
