Craigens writes new chapter after joining Newsquest

NEWMAINS UNITED’S media academy has helped another student secure employment.

Journalism graduate Kevin Craigens has landed a role as a casual reporter with Newsquest.

The former UWS Ayr Campus will report on news in the Paisley and Barrhead areas.

Kevin has been a major contributor to the club’s media output for over two years.

As well as conducting interviews and writing match reports, he spent a year as The Stats Man producing weekly rundowns of upcoming opponents.

We’d like to thank Kevin for all his hard work and wish him well in his new role.

Fancy following in Kevin’s footsteps? If you’re a budding journalist, photographer, graphic designer or videographer looking for a platform to showcase your skills then our media academy is the place for you. Find out more here or send us a message here or via our social media channels.
