When I saw the opportunity to work with Newmains I thought it would be a great way to gain journalistic experience while doing something I enjoy.
I hope, with time and guidance, I can develop my writing skills and become more succinct and to the point. The match reports provide good practise for improving these skills.
What has stuck me about the club is there is a real togetherness. The players, managers and staff seem to have a strong bond which is refreshing to see. I’m looking forward to being a part of it.
