RENFREW are on the hunt for a new manager after Colin Clark resigned following a 7-3 home defeat to Ardeer Thistle.

He left with Frew sitting in ninth place after ten games in West of Scotland Conference B.

Clark’s former assistant Jimmy Quigley – along with coaches Iain Nicholson and Ryan Borris – have been placed in temporary charge until an appointment is made.

Last week goals from Kris Jarvie and Michael Barton looked to have completed a hard-fought second-half comeback for Newmains at Ardeer.

But a heart-breaking late goal meant the points stayed in Ayrshire.

But Newmains have the chance to build on their encouraging display and fight our way up the table.

Kick-off at Victoria Park is 2pm on Saturday, with entry priced at £5 for adults, £2.50 for OAPs and FREE for under 16s.
